Eve wanted easy access to the trunk (’56 Mets didn’t have the outside trunk deck door). We replaced the rear deck center panel with a trunk door style panel. The trunk deck door was peaked in the center to match the center peak in the hood. Hinges and latch are concealed under the door - secret button on dash opens the door. Rear fender stainless molding has been extended around lower belt line to meet below the spare tire. The hubcap ‘M’s are lavender. |
