“Virginia”
(seems everyone names their Met) has been driven a scant 17,000
miles. She is “virginal”, including her diamond gray
and black patterned fabric seat upholstery, embossed vinyl trim
on seats and door panels, contoured rubber floor mat and Goodyear
tires! Wonder about her outside mirrors? When Mets were ordered
from the manufacturer (in England) to be equipped with exterior
mirrors, Lucas fender mirrors were always installed in this location
on the fenders during final assembly.
